2019 NEPES GRADUATE STUDENT MENTORING OPPORTUNITY
With the support of the Philosophy of Education Society's Mentoring and Development Committee, NEPES is proud to offer the following exciting paper development and mentoring opportunity for graduate students: In advance of this year's conference, the executive board will select a limited number of papers by graduate student authors and will assign them to a senior scholar as respondent. The respondent will write comments on the developing paper to be delivered at NEPES 2019 in Boston. These comments will support the continued development of the paper for submission, by November 1, 2019, to the Philosophy of Education Society's annual conference in Pittsburgh in March 2020.
Graduate student authors are asked to indicate their interest in being considered for this opportunity by including the text "[Graduate Paper for Potential Mentorship]" in the subject line of their submission email. Those authors whose papers are selected (according to limitations of senior scholar expertise and availability) will need to submit their full paper drafts to their assigned respondent by no later than September 1, 2019. Length details will follow.
The 2019 conference will be hosted by Boston College on September 21, 2019. For questions regarding the conference or submissions, please reach out to Interim VicePresident and Program Chair Ashley Taylor at ataylor1@colgate.edu.
